Here at Idealog, we’re all about that sweet, sweet productivity. After all, if you’re reading this, you’re probably a can-do type, so you already know that you’ll never reach your goals/change the world/destroy the earth from space without efficient and effective use of your time.

But how are you actually doing in that regard? Sure, you’re busy, but busy-ness andproductivity are radically different things.

How much of your time is spent in distraction? Checking and re-checking Outlook, Facebook and Idealog? (No judgement)

Most of us know, deep down, that we’re losing valuable work time in one fashion or another, even if we don’t know, exactly, what that fashion is.

Well here’s a breakdown, via US software company Scoro, of where that time is actually going. And the results, while illuminating, aren’t really surprising. Top time wasters include email (as already mentioned), meetings (we called it!) and online browsing (hi there!).
